Cool Mauka Jazz is committed to live jazz performances. Nothing is synthesized, recorded, or artificial. We are artists performing beautiful jazz for listening and dancing.
The musicians of Cool Mauka Jazz have a long history of performing in big band, jazz, and theater ensembles. Musicians are regular members or sit-in artists in many of the Island’s jazz groups, and individuals have sat in with professional groups such as Little Anthony and the Imperials, and the Four Tops. Over the years you have seen them in The Olliephonic Horns big band, The Kona Brass quintet, The Good Times Jazz Band, and individuals have performed locally with Bill Noble, Betsy Curtis, Terry Secor, Brian McCree, Charles Michael Brotman, Pauline Wilson, and Gene Harris.
